Rumesh

Rumesh Kumar Machap (Rumesh) was a second year PhD student in the Informatics Research Institute (IRI) when he died in a tragic accident on the University campus on 8th November 2005. As anybody will tell you here at IRI, Rumesh was a very funny and clever young man who you couldn't fail to like. He will be deeply missed. As well as doing his research in computer games and cinematography he came to know a lot of people throughout the University during the six months that he supported the VR suite (which he used to love). The idea of this site is to give us a location where we can permanently preserve and share information about some of Rumesh's work and his friends' memories of him. Rumesh was a big fan of wikis, and that's what this site is. A wiki lets you edit web pages and add your own content using your web browser.
